What parts are
covered?
All mechanical and electrical cover most
mechanical and electrical parts other than those
specifically detailed as "Non-covered parts". Please ask for
further details.
This applies to vehicles up to 5 years
old.
We will pay for replacement parts and
labour should your car require repairs following a sudden
mechanical or electrical failure, an example of some of the
parts covered include:
- Timing belts
- Catalytic converter
- Air conditioning (factory fitted)
- In car entertainment (up to a maximum
of £100 per claim)
- Casings
- Turbo/Supercharger (factory fitted)
Premier cover
What parts are covered?
Listed parts cover for cars up to 7 years
old. Exclusions apply. Please ask for further details.
We will pay for specific replacement
parts and labour should your car require repairs following a
sudden failure. The component areas covered are listed
below.
- Engine
- Gearbox
- Clutch
- Suspension
- Steering Wheel
- Braking system
- Driveline components (front/rear)
- Wheel bearings

Mantles
Assistance
You are only entitled
to this cover if you have paid the relevant premium and it
is detailed on Your Schedule.
Mantles Assist covers you against an
insured incident (i.e. mechanical breakdown, accident,
vandalism, fire, theft or attempted, flat battery, key
breakage or accidental damage to tyres), occurring during
the Period of Insurance within the Geographical Limits.
If your vehicle is immobilised or rendered
unroadworthy as a result of an insured incident, Mantles
Assist will arrange and pay for:
Callout and up one hour's labour for
assistance at your home or at the roadside;
and, if necessary
The transportation of you and your vehicle
to the nearest suitable repairer.
If Mantles Assist have been contacted in
connection with an insured incident, up to two telephone
messages to your family members, friends of business
associates to advise them of unforeseen travel delays will
be made.

excluded from both levels of cover are:
- Lubrication of chassis points,
hinges, linkages and topping up fluid levels.
- Engine oil and filter changes
- Engine tuning
- Drive belt adjustments
- Brake and clutch adjustments and
replacements due to wear
- Glass replacements due to breakages
or impact.
- Wheel alignment and balance
- Spark plugs
- Fuel filters and cleaning of the fuel
system
- Windscreen wiper rubbers
- Lights, bulbs and fuses
- Headlight adjustments
- Paintwork, trim and chrome defect or
damage
- Tyres and/or wheel rotation
- Batteries
- Interior trim
- Bodywork
- Items that do not form part of the
manufacturer's original specifications of the vehicle.

Tyre care cover
- Protects your tyres against
